To help poor farmers participate in this development, we're setting up cooperatives with farmers with small marginal lands to grow jatropha and trying to work with individuals and corporations in the US who are committed to reduce their carbon footprint to fund these efforts.
I'm doing an article on how to get started on biodiesel. Hopefully it will be published in E: The Environmental Magazine, but first I need to find some people who have experience with biodiesel. As a biodiesel enthusiast, I assume you have some wisdom to share on how someone who is interested in biodiesel could get themselves started. This is a bit forward, but would you be willing to go on the record about your own experiences? It seems like biodiesel's popularity is growing and I think E would help add to the trend. The magazine has a circulation of 50,000! If you'd like to talk about it, you can contact me by e-mail or phone: nicoreid@comcast.net...847.924.4421. Thanks a lot!
