8th Annual Rocky Mountain Sustainable Living Fair is commencing on September 15 and 16, 2007, in Fort Collins, Colorado. Join us for a weekend of enlightening solutions that sustain our lifestyles while sustaining our environment.
The Rocky Mountain Sustainable Living Fair is a solution based, hands-on, family oriented event designed to educate people of all ages and backgrounds about Sustainable Living Practices, Renewable Energy, Environmental & Social Responsibility, Natural Health, Green Building, Alternative Vehicles, Organic Agriculture, Local Economies and more.

Keynote SpeakersEach year the Sustainable Living Fair hosts four dynamic Keynote Speakers. Our attendees have come to expect informative, well-spoken and motivating speakers and this year will be no exception. 2007 speakers are Amy Goodman, host of Democracy Now!; Peggy O'Mara, publisher of Mothering Magazine; Michael Shuman, author of "The Small Mart Revolution: and economist; Joshua Tickell, author of "From the Fryer to the Fuel Tank", "Biodiesel America" and filmmaker; and John Fielder, photographer, publisher, teacher and preservationist.
175 National ExhibitorsEvery year business from all over the country come to this event to display products and services that help lead people to make more educated decisions in their everyday lives. Follow the links on our web site (

Hands-On Workshops and DemonstrationsIncluded with your $5 attendance fee is access to ALL workshops presented over the course of the weekend. Our Workshop Presenters travel from across the country to bring you the most current and accurate information out there today! Tented workshops include Sustainable Landscapes, Solar Farming, Yurts, Natural & Green Building, Alternatives to Photovoltaic Solar, Sustainable Livestock Production, Electric Bikes, Developing Green Professionals Careers in the New Economy, and many more. We also feature extended workshops where we will build a 10' diameter wind turbine from scratch with Dan Bartmann and other folks from otherpower.com; construct a strawbale structure with Curtis Scheib of EcoEnergy Builders; an under-the-hood workshop on converting a stock diesel engine to run on straight vegetable oil; and a Cordwood masonry workshop with Rob Roy, Director of Earthwood Building School in West Chazy, NY since 1981.
Planet YouthPlanet Youth is a designated area at the fair featuring educational programs for kids, youth, families and educators! The all new Natural Parenting Nook is designed to help new parents learn about alternatives for natural family living. Planet Youth is a wonderful world full of workshops, presentations, music, entertainment, crafts, activities and much more.
Zen ZoneReconnect to that Divine Presence within by tapping into the energy of conscious sustainability that only the Sustainable Living Fair can offer. Lose yourself in silent retrospection at the Meditation Tent. Empower yourself to heal from within by escaping to one of our several health, fitness and spirituality workshops.
Friendly Food MarketThe RMSLA proudly presents the Friendly Food Market in an effort to provide the best organic food available and to meet our Zero Waste Goal, which is no small task.
Beer GardenStop by the RMSLA Beer Garden and cool off with one of these fine brews in your own reusable RMSLA Pint Glass. New Belgium Brewing, Odells Brewing and Redstone Meadery are all local companies and have generously donated their products to support the cause. Also, the fair is conveniently located directly across the street from New Belgium Brewery. Odell's is only a couple of blocks away. Both breweries are living examples of sustainability and each has incredible philanthropy programs and wonderful tasting rooms to enjoy.
EntertainmentThroughout the course of the weekend our main stage features four dynamic keynote speakers and a collection of diverse local music and entertainment.
The Fair is organized by the Rocky Mountain Sustainable Living Association ... committed to applying our vision and expertise toward a sustainable future for all. We are a non-profit organization with the distinguishing quality to move people toward powerful and profound choices in an effort to stave off complacency about issues affecting our world.
