If you intend to sell Biodiesel legally, you'll need to deal with the NBB and the IRS. In order to be profitable, you'll need to produce and sell a
lot of fuel to break even on the NBB membership fees; you'll also need to conform to the ASTM standards. There may be ways to sidestep some of this system by selling the fuel to farmers (and others) for off-road use only.
