To North Texas area residents who are interested in forming a Biodiesel Co-Op:
I have been working in my spare time on assembling my first processor. I'm new to this in practice but I've been researching it and taking my time. I have purchased 95% of what I need to get started including an extra 40-gallon hot water heater (that makes two total) and blue pump (3 total) for future needs. I've already got all the major components and ingredients: WVO, KOH, Methanol. In addition, I have space on my property to do it.
My specific plans are to combine the Appleseed design with the "Graham Laming GL-1 Day" to have a clean and safe method of processing which allow me to recover unused Methanol and create the highest quality Biodiesel.
My goal is to join together with like-minded gents in the area who are ready to become fuel independent and learn more about the amazing phenomenon that is BioDiesel. With the collective help of a Co-Op, I hope to purchase an OC-20 centrifuge filter for filtering the WVO, a couple of cone-bottom poly tanks for processing and fueling station equipment. Once a reliable processing system is perfected and tested, we can spread the word and get more guys like us off the Arab Oil tit! Sound good? Send me an email to vegoilrecycler@gmail.com.
Cheers.
