New to the post, so I'd like to introduce myself, and invite anyone with a shared interest to get in touch with me.

My name is Darin Freitag, I have a background in small business/project management.  I want to get involved in the biodiesel industry, and am looking for a business partner with whom I can work together to identify opportunities, do all necessary research and analysis, write a business plan, get financing, and start making money.  

I haven't isolated any one particular aspect of the industry as being most favorabe; however, I would see greatest potential in producing biodiesel from WVO for retail distribution. 

I would also like to put my name out there as a prospective hire for any established businesses whose activities are aligned with my interests and skills.  

Just looking to get my hands dirty with this stuff!

I am a graduate student of University of Western Ontaio,London,Ontario.I am researching on producing biodiesel from a tropical oil plant called Jatropha Curcas.Though it doesn't grow in USA and Canada yet, but its seed are very cheap and commercially available from Africa and Asia.This plant is very important because it is a non edible plant  and can grow in even stony soil. It has the potential to replace current biodiesel feedstock (soyabean oil,canola oil ) and thus can be helpful for food security in canada and USA and eventually for the whole world.These seed oil give high cetane number biodiesel.I am researching on producing high quality biodiesel in a cheaper way from that oil.If you are interested please reply me back.

I am also looking into starting an Bio Diesel Distribution in Ontario. I have already made a few small processors and I am trying to make bigger batches. If I had some financing behind me, I would be able to spend more time perfecting a processor to handle large quantities. The space I am currently using is not large enough to scale up the process. I know that in time I will find the right partner with some backing to get things flowing faster. I would like to find someone that can see outside of the box and see the bigger picture. I am not interested in just processing Bio Diesel for private use. I would like to distribute the Bio Diesel in mid sized tanker trucks. Remember this Bio Diesel will power trucks, tractors, generators, ships, trains, construction equipment and can even heat your house. It is also a great cleaner (I found this out completely by accident).

The opportunity is unlimited and my process can be scaled up relatively easily. I am just limited to space and some funding at this time. However, I feel that someone will see the opportunity as I have and take advantage of this eventuality. The time to take action is now, the price of diesel is $1.20 a litre and is expected to rise to $1.50 by June of this year.
