    This president has clearly shown he can control what comes out of the EPA. He could change the way they currently determine emission standards that are problematic for diesels.

    That's one way.

    That has already been done. The problem was not the EPA, it was 5 states that had stricter regulations.

    So I guess US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Tier II/Bin 5 emissions requirements are just a figment of my imagination?

    They don't regard carbon compounds as the pollutant they actually are, which would make diesels a better deal.
