87 Mercedes 300TD - veggie oil and biodiesel ready
Single tank Elsbett system installed!
Runs on veggie oil (SVO or WVO), biodiesel, diesel, or any combination of the three.
Car is in excellent mechanical condition and has great compression.
We are only the 2nd owners, and we have almost all service receipts.
-transmission replaced by mercedes directly
-3rd row seat installed (seats 7)
-upgraded battery and replaced starter
-upgraded to 100 amp alternator
-new fuel pump
-iPOD ready stereo installed with CD player and upgraded speakers
-replaced front windshield
-replaced rear suspension (including subframe) and adjusted hydraulics
-all hoses, belts and filters replaced
-new glow plugs
-radiator and related belts replaced
-replaced tie-rods (steering)
-fuel tank screen replaced (often an issue in veggie oil conversions)
-four new tires

305k miles - clean title
Known issues include:
-Gas-tank gauge is inaccurate below half tank.
-passenger seat is in need of a new switch ($100- installed)
-air conditioning works intermittently
-front brakes will need to replaced in 2 - 4 months ($150- installed)
