A PhD with a strong scientific background in Chemistry, is seeking a job related to production of biodiesel.

I am currently a PhD student at Queen’s University Belfast undertaking research into vegetable oil transesterification to biodiesel with alcohols over solid catalysts.  Prior to this, I have successfully completed a Master of Science in Environmental Electrochemistry and a Bachelor of Science in Organic Chemistry.    During my PhD study, I created a new reaction system and found a new catalyst that proved to be effective and efficient for continuous production of biodiesel from waste vegetable oil. With the help of the characterization of the catalyst, I have also done fully investigation on the reaction mechanism and thermodynamic analysis, and obtained some important conclusions that paved the way to the utilization of the reaction system and the catalyst in manufacture.   I now wish to develop my career further, and am therefore looking for a new and suitably challenging  position.

I would very much welcome the opportunity to elaborate further on my application at interview and I look forward to hearing from you.

    Many thanks,

    Mr. Jun Ni
