    Reactor sugestions.

    Newbie here!
I have been researching biodiesel and I am about to build a 90l
reactor! I have looked at several and "Joe Street's processor" posted
at Journey To Forever looks to be a decent design.

I like the vacuum aspect with the meth recovery. I was hoping to get
some reviews of this processor. I would also like some opinions on a
mixing pump. I plan on using the pump for mixing and to transfer fluids
from barrel to barrel. Thanks in advance for any helpful information.

You will be better served staying away from Journey to Forever.  Most of that stuff is not well developed, and some downright inaccurate.  For the ultimate in methanol recovery systems and dry washing, check out Graham Lamings work on the infopop forum:

Several people have commented on Journey to Forever; not good info?
The formula and temperatures seem to be consistent with what I see elsewhere, what is the issue? Is there a missing step?
Also, in the Go Push Pull slides a step refers to a teaspoon of indicator, wassat?

Finally, what is the 35% Hydrochloric Acid all about? I hadn’t seen that before?
