I live in Hamilton, NJ and want to make biodiesel. I have access to WVO. I have never made it and would like to learn.

I am starting a mobile paper shredding business in New York City and am looking to fuel our comercial vehicle(s) with biodiesel.  50 gallon tank, ~1 fill-up per day, 6 days a week.  I'd like to identify any possible fueling stations within proximity to the NYC area or explore ways of having the fuel delivered to our warehouse monthly or bimonthly.  Thanks!

i've found this site helpful, but wonder if it is exhaustive:  http://www.biodiesel.org/buyingbiodiesel/retailfuelingsites/showstate.asp?st=NY

Escarola,

2 years ago I made about 750mL of biodesel (methyl esters) from 1L of soybean oil.  Doing the small batch helps you get familiarized with what's involved in the process, and is fun to do, too - great science-fair experiment for the kids as well...if you have a small diesel engine to run it in.
