BioDieselNow - Renewable biodiesel fuel

anyone know now that bell is up over 15 cents? feece also sells premium diesel. what cetane? what price?

I just bought 44 gallons of B-100 from Feece Oil. The base price was $2.40. With taxes it came up to $2.86 a gallon.

just called feece in batavia. 3.97 with all the taxes.

no typo. that is what i was told over the phone.

just called again. 2.97 per gal plus tax. whats that 33 cents?

Price for B100, as of May 9 '05, is $2.50/gal plus $0.47/gal in taxes, equaling $2.97 per gallon.

Price at Feece Oil for B100 was, ($2.97 with taxes,) on June 10, 2005.

I called Feece today (July 6th) and the price for B100 was still $2.97 [with taxes]

After soaring to a discouraging $4.07/gal after taxes in late July, the price per gal of B100 is now back down to $2.97 with taxes. As of Aug 5, 05.

pacific bio d in maui is now cheaper than regular diesel. it will be interesting to see what the current price is after katrina.

The last I talked to feece, yesterday (Sept 1)they said B100 was $3.80 (how does a hurricane in the gulf affect Biodiesel?)

I'm supposing that for one it is because petro fuel is still used to produce biodiesel and also because Biodiesel competes in the same market as diesel and is considered a "premium product".

Are you saying you think the idea of the biodiesel maker is "diesel price is going way up so lets make bd more expensive cuz we can" I haven't heard that soybean futures have gone up.

i wish they would sell it a nickel over regular diesel but we also do not have enough pumps in the public sector to get the product out. someone is hurting the cause by being 11 cents or more higher than petro. unfortunately bio d has to be transported by truck prolly using petro fuel. bio d really needs to get its own fleet of trucks to use the product they sell to show the folks not knowing what it can do benefit wise. gas and diesel and #2hho all get delivered by underground pipeline. there is about 50,000 miles of oil pipeline under the usa. this i was told by a fella from bp.

Soybean oil futures are trending down but spiked on Katrina. Feece was out and just got resupplied on Thursday. Not sure if they got jacked on timing or if they are positioning it as "premium" type fuel. Feece doesn't have premium diesel at the pumps, just mix it for retailers. $2.89 for dino diesel.

Zac was out there yesterday and paid $3.79 or so.

Ouch! I paid 2.89 for B20 last week in Michigan [:D] Cross the border into Indiana and you can get petro D for $2.58!

a buck more is bloody ridiculous! this is the time to make bio part of the fuel think for diesel drivers. a dime maybe, prefer a nickel but a buck even at these prices is too high. anyone agree?

I know that I am nieve(sp) to what REALLY drives the cost of commercial Bio, but I can't see why it's upward movement is paralleling petro?
