    Re: FORT LAUDERDALE PRODUCTION CO-OP

6/27/06 Great! I live in Hallandale and work in Fort Lauderdale. First up I think we should discuss production location. I can use some space at a friend's warehouse in Pompano. I havent checked it out by will do so this weekend. Let's discuss options if Pompano is out of your way. Second, expertise in production. I have none. From reading GirlMark's informative website and write ups I think she is very knowledgeable and informative. She has a "How to guide" she sells that I'll purchase. Thirdly, we'll need to set up an equipment and production materials lists and costs. Let's discuss which way to go on the production equipment. Seems like the Appleseed method has a lot of pros. I think that does it for now. Thanks, Ruben Reyes

I just purchased Girl Mark's book, having just purchased my first diesel car last Friday! I'm very much interested in being part of a production co-op. I live in Miami Beach. So how big is our co-op? :) AccelerateBiz Hosting www.acceleratebiz.com

I live near Tampa now but return to Ft. Lauderdale about once a month. I would love to purchase biodiesel while there and for the return trip.

    Re: FORT LAUDERDALE PRODUCTION CO-OP

    FYI

I bought a tank of biodiesel from Aztech Energy in tampa today.  The plant is in a newer industrial park behind the Amscot at 1717 Busch Blvd.  You have to drive back there and look the big sign that says "Biodiesel".

They use 100% Virgin soybean oil and it's super clean looking stuff... my 2002 jetta TDI runs great on it.

The owner, Frazier, is really cool.  He showed me the plant and gives everyone a form to fill out for a $1 per gallon tax return.  If you fill up with biodiesel made from WVO then you get a 50 cent refund per gal but if you fill up with Biodiesel made from virgin, American vegetable oil, you get a $1 refund for each gallon.  He will give you a receipt to prove it too.

His plant is state of the art and can put out a ton of fuel.   I hope he does well and picks up some retailers in the area to distribute to.   Please give him some business... I highly recommend this place.

They are open from 9 until 6.  Here is the address and contact info.

    Re: FORT LAUDERDALE PRODUCTION CO-OP

    Hello everyone here,

My name is Cristian, I am a newbe here and my friends and I have been searching for a biofuel message board, and finally we are here. I am looking to get more information about a plant or company who is looking to open a Bio Fuel station near by or in fort lauderdale area. I found out several biodiesel distributors, link below:

    http://www.biodiesel.org/buyingbiodiesel/distributors/showstate.asp?st=FL

    Many of these runs B22.

The making of Biodiesel contains lythel and methanol which in some places are rare to find and expensive. I'm thinking to go straight veggie and/or become a dealer like the site below:

    http://www.dieselsecret.com/index.html

If you know anything else that I dont know, reply back, I am all ears =)

    -Christian

    Re: FORT LAUDERDALE PRODUCTION CO-OP

I live in Naples, I have a 40 gallon processor that I use whenever I can find WVO, most of the stuff I have come up with has titrated at about 9, really nasty, but I have been fortunate and got it to convert....If I could find good WVO in volume, I would be interested in driving to ft lauderdale....so what do I need to do to be a part of the ft lauderdale production co-op?
