Please use this forum to list locations biodiesel can be bought. If you have other info, such as hours, price, address, web site, etc, please also list it. There are a pair of fairly comprehensive lists here: http://www.biodiesel.org/buyingbiodiesel/retailfuelingsites/default.shtm and http://afdcmap.nrel.gov/locator/LocatePane.asp

Hmmm, since this message is "sticky" seems like it would be a good idea to use it... Tacoma Biodiesel Cooperative http://www.tacomabiodiesel.org/ info@tacomabiodiesel.org Currently the only place to purchase biodiesel in Tacoma, B100 pump. Currently on "hiatus" for fuel sales. Please visit APP in Fife to purchase biodiesel near Tacoma.

According to the Spokesman-Review, Jim Armstrong of the Spokane County Conservation District announced that CityService Valcon has dedicated one of its tanks and pumps to dispense biodiesel, so: Pacific Pride (I-90 exit 293) has B20. As of January 15, 2004, it's starting at $1.99/gal. It's at the corner of Appleway and Barker; just go 4 blocks south from the exit. The public can use the pump from 8am-5pm. A credit card is needed. This is the first in eastern Washington folks, and it's about 5 miles from my home. It's good to make some noise! Now I think I'll make my city vehicles use it! It's good to be on the council, eh, Graeme?! :)

The Fast Fuel station (CFN)off Lilly Road in Olympia sells both B20 and B100. The station is next to I-5, between Martin Way and Pacific Avenue. As of January 16, 2004 the B20 was $1.949 and the B100 was $2.859. A regular CFN card is required for the B20. A special Acme card is needed for B100 because CFN doesn't now have a code for B100. At least that's my understanding. Both CFN and B100 cards are available from The Acme Service Group in Olympia. That's Tom Allen's company that owns Fast Fuel. They're good folks to work with. Their phone number is 360-943-1133. I filled my tank with B20 there today. We all need to step up and demonstrate to Tom that his investment was worthwhile.

Matt, I went to Kent today to check out the Pacific Pride fuel station there. It turns out they don't have a pump for B100, B20 or any kind of biodiesel. They only sell bd to big companies and governments and then they deliver it. I told them that they should have a B20 pump there in Kent and that they would get a lot of business (since it would be the closest one to Seattle-Bellevue) but they don't have any extra tanks or pumps. This is the same old story I heard from Cenex and Flying-J. The good news is that they might start selling biodiesel (not sure what mix -- likely B20) at their station at harbor island in Seattle: http://www.pacificpride.com/detail.asp?ID=120aef. If anyone else likes to run B20 please contact them and let them know that they have a customer base! The city trucks of Seattle and Metro buses could fill up there too.

NEW B20 PUMP IN SEATTLE Today I drove to Harbor Island in Seattle and was able to fill my tank with B20 at the Pacific Pride truck stop [1617 SW Lander St of Klickitat Ave SW south of the Arco terminal]. Harbor Island is on the way to west Seattle and just off hwy 99. I think this is the first B20 pump to open in Seattle which I have been waiting on for more than a year! My TDI is purring [^] on this fuel and the price was only $2.149 per gallon. I think they made a mistake on the price because it's cheaper than the normal petro diesel. Maybe this is a special price since the pump is new -- I talked to a trucker and the woman in the snack/espresso shack and they said I was the first person they saw buying B20. I hope a lot of people will go there and fill up especially their PD TDIs, big pickups and fleets for which B100 is not an option. We need to show the big fuel companies that there is a demand for mainsteam Biodiesel!! HOW TO FILL UP -Pull into Slot #1 (unless you have a big truck you will want the regular nozzle on the south side, they have 2 pumps but both are #1, the pumps are clearly marked "B20" with the biodiesel.org cloud logo and url) -Walk over to the middle of the island where you see the credit card pay machine (watch out for big trucks, they won't be getting B20 so don't worry about having to fight for pump #1) -Swipe your credit card (visa, mc) and select Pump #1 -Go back to your vehicle and pump away (note: this thing pumps fast!!) -If you want a receipt go back to the machine and swipe your card again (it seems this is the way to find out how much you're paying per gallon since it's not on the pump, it might be on the big sign out front but I didn't notice) -drive away avoiding big trucks going fast! Give Them A Try!!

I stopped by the Harbor Island station this weekend and it wouldn't accept a Visa card for the B20 pump. I don't have or want a Pacific Pride card so will need to call them today and see why it is a restricted pump.

OK, I called PetroCard and got the information. You can only buy from pump #1 at the kiosk so you can only get it while they are open. I stopped by on Friday and checked it out. Put in about a half tank, the improvement was immediate. I will swing by tomorrow and fill it up.

There is a new place in Seattle called FryBrid that is handling SVO conversions and is selling both Biodiesel and SVO. They are located at 1218 10th Ave in Seattle (immediately north of Seattle University and about a block and a half east of Broadway). I will be going by this afternoon to check out their supplier and the price and will report back.

What are their hours of VISA card operation?

The very kind woman in the espresso stand who processes your card while you fill, says that she is open M-F 6:00a-5:30p. Last price I paid for the B20 is $2.94/gallon.

Hi there, I am with The Green Car Company. We specialize in the sale & service of Biodiesel vehicles, electric vehicles & bikes, SMART cars, etc. We just installed a B100 fueling tank at our shop in kirkand. If not, can you tell me which sites I should make sure that we get listed on. I have already contacted www.biodiesel.org & pugetsoundcleancities.org. Here is our Info: The Green Car Company 11630 Slater Ave NE #3 Kirkland, WA 98034 425-820-4549 www.thegreencarco.com service@thegreencarco.com Fuel is available Mon-Sat 8am-5pm at the moment. thanks a lot!
