Dieselcraft Cyclone Centrifuges have proven to be quite efficient in the cleaning of waste vegetable oil and reducing the free fatty acids in the pre-processing of Biodiesel. They also have proven to remove glycerin after the processing.

When fitted with a gear pump to supply oil flow and pressure of only 90 PSI a Dieselcraft Cyclone Centrifuge cleans oil by generating a centrifugal force which is 2,000 times greater than gravity. Oil pressure spins the rotor at a rate up to 8,000 rpm’s. That force separates the solid contaminates from the main oil supply while spinning the solids to the inside walls of the rotor, which is easily cleaned.

Contaminant particles as small as 1/10^th of 1 micron are removed, all with out the use of a disposable costly filter element.

Dieselcraft Cyclone Centrifuges have also been used for the cleaning of used motor oil that can be then be safely blended with diesel fuel and burned in an engine up to a 50/50 mix.

The three Dieselcraft Cyclone Centrifuges are sized by flow rates and dirt holing capacity. The Model OC-20 will clean 50 gallons per hour, the OC-50, 108 gallons per hour and the OC-200 will clean 300 gallons per hour.

All units have a 2 year replacement warranty.

How much for the OC200.. I have heard that it doesnt do as good of job as the OC50..  True??

 Ther is apotential for confusion here, they make an Oc 20-Oc50-OC200 and OC600  .                                                                                  Did lots of research on these they all work equally well  provided your gear pump and pressure setting are appropriate. The model# represents the capacity of solids, in cc's, the unit is capable of of removing before the internal bowl requires cleaning. The 20 is $185,- 50 $215 200-$995 and they also have a 600 for $2495. that f.o.b. so you also be playing with the exchange rate and some customs charges.  You would need, in parrallel, (4) 50's to =a 200 , (10)20'to =a 200 (3)200's to a 600  and so on . You should also obtain a spare spinner or bowl assembly to minimize downtime,The way they are rated,itis possible to achieve a higher flow with less solids capacity, Therfore ,it is not as much about the GPH you may proccess, but you will need to anticipate how much solids? How often you will interupt the process? And of course the Bennies in your pocket.Unlike an element filter, rated in microns, that would be in a series of deminishing # , the cetrifuge alone is capable to about .5 micron ,but not in a single pass. It must be recirculated through several time. Back to the topic .If  someone is diapointed w/the 200 vs. the 50 they are more then likely not generating the pressure and flow the 200 requires.
