Purchaser Job Description:

We are actively seeking a Purchaser for our manufacturing company in North West Georgia . This position requires a responsible, experienced and self-motivated individual.

Skills/Experience Needed for the Purchaser:
*BS in Business Administration or Engineering
*Experience Negotiating multi-year supply contracts
*International Buying Experience
*Cost Reduction Experience

Responsibilities of the Purchaser:
*Contract Negotiations with/ suppliers regarding price and delivery commitments for new quotes/contracts & existing purchase orders
*Coordinate major production schedule changes with the suppliers by negotiating price adjustments for either up or down volume swings
*Load and maintain Data
*Maintain a current knowledge of purchasing as well as assigned commodities
*Participate in long term planning & strategic management reporting
*Manage Suppliers
*Maintain a professional business relationship with suppliers



Cost Reduction Expereince, Purchusing @ least 500,000-1 million dollars, International buying Background, Bachelor Degree Required
