BioDieselNow - Renewable biodiesel fuel

I just got off the phone with Carter Chemical Services Inc of 55 Warren Ave Westbrook, Maine 04092.  They have 55 gallon drums of Methanol for $230, picked up.  Phone # 207-854-9781.  I would call ahead before driving any distance to make sure they're not between shipments.  That said they currently stock it.  For Lye see www.bestdeal.org/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?affiliate=candlesoap&Screen=CTGY&Store_Code=Essential&Category_Code=277  .  They have 30 lbs of lye for $65.65.  They sell it on 2 lb containers which negates the hazmat shipping fee.  I don't know what their shipping rates are like.  Still looking for a source closer/locally.  These guys also have KOH.

I spoke to Tauraus Lubricants of Tewksbury, MA on the phone yesterday (978-542-5577).  They have methanol for $229/55 gallon drum FOB.  (picked up)  They have KOH for $1.50/lb and NAOH for $1.25/lb.  They're working on a shipping estimate for me, as I'm 3 hours north of Bangor.  I expect to be getting a few barrels of methanol in the next couple of weeks and If I drive to Westbrook I would be interested in dropping drums along the way (Westbrook north to Caribou) at cost plus a little to help with gas, say around $30/barrel?
