BioDieselNow - Renewable biodiesel fuel

Any info out there about running heavy equipment using biodiesel? Specifically CAT equipment.

here in corpus christi, we have more heavy equipment (all oil drilling and supply based) than you'd ever thought possible, about 9 major refineries, so cranes out the wazoo, front end loaders, bull dozers etc.

i've been thinking of contacting one of those closest to me and seeing how one runs.... i bet if they offer anything at all, it will be a 3 cylindar emergency generator type thing, that would still be just fine with me, I'd love to see it in action.

First off, I own 3 Cat machines and have not contacted Cat direct to find out. However, I have heard that Cat engines love BD, even at a high blend. Again, I need to contact them to find out but this is what i've heard from guys in the field. I have ran my 262 skid steer and 304 CR mini excavator on B-20 with no problems as of yet. I'm dying to try B-100 on the skid steer while the nice weather is here.
