    Best Big Diesel for Bio

Hello All, I am new to this forum and I am looking for a little help.  Before all the pandering begins I know what I am about to ask can be viewed as an opinion based question.  I am looking for opinions but with facts to back them up.  I am beginning a kit car project that is going to be diesel powered and I am curious as to which big diesel responds the best to biodiesel or WVO.  I have heard some good things throughout this forum and others about all the big three (Cummins, Powerstroke, Duramax) and bad things.  I've read a lot of great reviews about Powerstrokes (7.3L and 6.0L) responding well to bio but I have also heard that the HEUI injection system tends to cause problems with polymerization cloging the injectors.  Cummins also seems to be a pretty popular conversion, but I've heard they occasionally have fuel pressure or starting problems.  I know that no engine is going to be a 100% turnkey operation, I'm just looking for what engine seems to have to best all around success.  Thanks for the help.

Simply put, not just opinion based NOT FORD NOT FORD NOT FORD NOT FORD. The 6.0 is a horrible engine and the new 6.4 get even worse fuel mileage. I will still own a ford but only because it is paid for.

Yeah, I have pretty much decided against ford diesels.  I'm also not going to go with a dmax (too expensive).  So I'm pretty much down to a Cummins.  Now the question is which cummins??  12-valve, 24-valve, common rail?  I am leaning toward a 2003-2007 Cummins because of all the available performance parts and the painless engine harness which will be nice for a ground-up build like I am working on.  Thanks for the help.
