Oh that would go over pretty well with the authorities! I'm already paranoid in having in methanol and B100 stored in 55 gallon barrels ... I can't imagine 45,000 gallons of crude oil sitting around in our 'cement pond!' Geeked

Off Topic: Rich, where do you get your B100?  I'll be in Wooster, OH, this Saturday for a family reunion and plan to get some B20 at a nearby SCFN pump.  Didn't see B100 listed on the NBB site, though.

Back on topic: when I hear the argument that people will feel the pain of petroleum withdrawal, I just think of what a heroin addict has to go through.  I wouldn't want a heroin addict to stay on drugs because taking it away would be too painful.  Having a way to ease people off of petroleum instead of going cold turkey will make things a lot easier.  This is where petroleum diesel mixed with biodiesel shines I think.

The B100 (B99)  I buy for my 55 gallon garage drums is not available at the pump, but I fill with B20 every week at the I-71 Mt Gilead exit 151 Sunoco station. It's well south of Wooster, but an excellent on/off interstate stop for good quality biodiesel at the pump. Today's fill was $2.93.

  • I'm so stinkin' jealous of that picture. We need that option at every fueling station in the country, dangit!
  • Nate,

Don't be too jealous. Remember, we are working on that very thing and together I think we'll see that happen in just a few years.

Then I won't post a pic of the place less than two miles from our door Nate. Separate pumps for B20, B50, and B99. 24/7 card access too.

Plus a 1million gallon reactor in the back. Wink

Spoiled brat ... the kindest words I can think of for someone with a B100 pump and tank under their guest house! Wink
