  • I am with a mid size broad line foodservice distributor based in York, PA. I am organizing a food show in August with the theme of "Solutions", and I am looking for innovative ways to save my restaurant operator customers money and help them to succeed in the current challenging economy. I hope to elevate some awareness about ecological issues as well, although this must be presented in an economic format. Does anyone know of a mid-large scale fryer oil collecting company servicing south central PA? Our customer base is approximately a 200 mile radius of York.

  • Hi, Glad to see you made it here. I think you will have more success in finding 5 - 10 smaller oil collectors in a 200 mile radius because anyone that is scaled up large enough to handle that much of an area will be expecting to charge for their services. The way the small brewer is able to handle this for free is working in a more localized area so travel time and cost is not as much as an issue. You should probably divide this 200 mile radius "pie" up into smaller service areas and I am sure you will find people to help you achieve your goal here. Jim

  • Dear M. Miller,

We are currently in the process of organizing a company which will pay restaurants to pick up their used cooking oil and supply them with the a grease collection container at no charge.

I also am a customer of your company.  I own and operate Metro Express and am also a partner in Clean & Green Energy systems based in Hegins, PA.  We should be able to collect oil for all of your customers provided the PA Department of Environmental resources will approve our pending application for waste oil pickup.

    Most Sincerely,

    Glen Eshelman

  • Hello!  I am the owner of a small trucking business based out of York as well.  We are looking to remove all the used oil(clear) we can find!(500-1000gal/wk FREE OF CHARGE!!!!! We are on the edge of converting our trucks to run on oil.  I'm sure you are aware of the economic struggle we are facing with the price of diesel fuel. The benefits are too great to ignore all the way around.  It is great benefit to us, to you, and of course the environment!  You can contact me (MEG) 717-668-9924. I will wait to hear from you.Smile

  • Do you still need the services of a mid-large scale fryer oil collection company servicing South Central PA?
