  • Guys, I'm sure you're all patroling the local section of Fred's, but if you're not, please see this link for information on our monthly biodiesel trek: http://forums.tdiclub.com/cgi-bin/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic;f=25;t=000095

  • So I'll meet Betzel and MIT in Cambridge at 10am. Betzel, we'll talk. I have two friends whom I will be picking up at the New Hampshire Welcome center. They drive a gasser but want to learn more, so they're comin' along for the experience. ~BeetleGo ============ Soybeans, is there nothing they can't do?!
  • Is the 10:40 am time still good for meeting at the NH rest area? Anyone bring there wife/ girlfriend? Jeff
  • I'm bringing my wife and dog, and Nutsnbolts on Fred's mentioned bringing someone named Anne... while my wife does genuinely enjoy clean diesel engine technology talk, I'm sure she wouldn't mind having another female to appreciate the full effect of her rolling eyes... :)

  • Funny!! Yes my girlfriend would enjoy teasing us all! She's now calling me "Diesel Geek"! :) She's ready for a diesel SUV, maybe Ford will offer a small version with a V6 someday soon.
  • A-hem, isn't that "LORD diesel geek"? lol BeetleGo, driven sootless ============ Soybeans, is there nothing they can't do?!
  • Greetings all...as a new member to the forum (and an owner of F-250 Power Stroke Diesel)I am inquiring how often you travel North to procure biodiesel. Typically, I load up 35-38 gallons to fill my chariot. This carries me 600 - 700 miles. During the summer months, we weekend-commute to NH to the campground for R&R. Having never used bio-d, would like to try same if there's a scheduled congo-line going up in the near future... Gene
  • nittfo, most of the guys car multiple plastic jugs (5 gal or 6 gal) and load their cars up. It looks like this journey happens every 4 to 6 weeks. The TDIers will use any excuse for a little GTG. It's a great group of individuals. _____________________ itchin' for the good stuff !
  • When's the next road trip North.......I'm going down to Williamsburg VA for a wedding the first week in May.....
  • Hi Nittfo. Welcome! We'd love to have some trucks at the next GTG. I'd guess we'd be looking at early May, probably the 4th or 11th. Or, perhaps April 27, but I know I'd have to whip through quite a bit of BD to be ready for the 27th...
  • Also, one of our most active members, MITBeta, lives down the road from you in Brockton. Perhaps he'd be willing to sell you 5 gallons of his stash before then, to whet your car's injectors.

He certainly would. Nittfo, I'm in Brockton... email me if you're interested...
