Valley Protein bought Amerigrease. So much for saving the environment! They came in, threw a bunch of money at the restaurants, lost a ton of money and sold out.
Amerigrease's website still talks about going grease...blah, blah, blah. It should say "Making animal feed"!
Wasn't this evolution kind'a inevitable? As the commodity of grease increases in value, it'll become more and more attractive to big business.
Valley Protein is still charging places to remove their grease as far as I know. They are ripe for taking over accounts- I'm getting another one this week, about 100 gallons/week.
I think lots of people got out of making biodiesel when fuel prices dived, we hung in there
Nothing beats driving down the road smelling like BBQ ! Nothing !
