1983 GMC 2500 Conversion(Starcraft) van 6.2L diesel engine, 700R4 4sp overdrive transmission, Heavy duty 4 core radiator, Rebuilt heavy duty rear springs, Hitop conversion(done by yours truly), Heavy duty roofrack(my kayak likes it), Good tires(p235 r15), 33 gallon fuel tank Positraction(limited slip)rear end, Custom wheels, Captain's Chairs(driver and passenger) on swivel bases, Rear couch w/seatbelts(seats 3 passengers), Lots of windows in hitop and van body(good lite and ventilation), JVC stereo w/cd(will play mp3 cd's, too), Cavernous under bed storage, Stove is a camp stove, Lots of inside floorspace, Sleeps up to 4 or 5 2 Sunroofs(1 each over driver and passenger seats), Heavy Duty Trailer Hitch Nothing is "like new" but it all works fine, engine and transmission were replaced 2 owners ago with GM factory rebuilts. A very comfortable camper van. I have done 2 trips to Baja in it, living in it during those trips for 3 months at a time. This is an amazingly clean-burning engine, way more so than my MBZ 300D!
Me and the van (the Brown Tortoise) live 60 miles north of San Francisco, near Sebastopol. Feel free to call me at 707 292 3618. I can send pix...
I'm selling it because I bought a motorhome that a friend needed to part with, otherwise I would hold on to this van.
What millage has the van and please send me some pics. Thanks
