Hello All,
Once again, I'm trying to purchase a vehicle to use bio in:
I have the oportunity to buy an "06 V10 TDI Touareg (what a rocket!), and am wondering how this engine would fare with B100 all the time.
Any help, please?
Thomas
I don't know enough about the newest engines, but I'd probably shy away from it in a 50K vehicle until it's kinda proven in the engine. But that's just me.
(The new-vehicle price is actually closer to 70K[:'(]).
I thought, though, that this engine would be nearly indestructible, after changing the fuel filter a couple of times, of course.
Soooooooo.........................
There really isn't anybody in this bio community who owns and or run B100 in a V10 (pre '07)??? hmmmm.
You might want to ask the same question over at www.TDIClub.com They have an active forum for "alternate fuels" such as biodiesel, and a lot of experienced BD users.
Thank you for the advice. I'll check it out.
my buddy has one he runs on B100 he loves it and hasnt had problems after over a year
