  • I'm franklin del Rosario a home grower of Biodiesel for 3 years now my feed stock is waste cooking oil and animal fats i been using my Toyota FX tamaraw with biodiesel up to BD 100 with out engine trouble I even tried CNO 20 blend before I make Biodiesel because coconut oil (CNO) is too expensive that why i stop using it and brew my biodiesel. Good Biodiesel from used cooking oil is crystal clear amber in color or golden light brown. cocodiesel is golden light yellow if feed stock is SVO. Home brewer like me can make biodiesel at cheap price because my feed stock is waste vegetable oil I follow the strict procedure with out short cut from fool proof recipe courtesy of journey toforever website because they encourage person like me to make a difference about making their own biodiesel. now that biodiesel is creating a lot of impact on transport industries in the Philippines unlike 3 years ago where petro-diesel is 10-12 peso per liter but now it is 30peso per liter and biodiesel is becoming competitive in price compare with petro-diesel. before cocodiesel in the philippines is used as anti pollution additive for diesel fuel because it is expensive, now it is still expensive so the viability to become as alternative fuel is still a dream because it is expensive than petro-diesel. you can make a difference if you can make your own biodiesel from waste vagetable oil you have too look for good source before making biodiesel. I'm planning to organize a group of home brewer and conduct seminar on how to make good quality biodiesel to fill up your tank and save fuel as well as air. if you are interested you may contact sc holding corpotation 6311275 and 6871786 cp 639069731451 email fbros1@yahoo.com

  • I have been travelling around the philippines because of this biodiesel program we have and we find very interesting persons who have pro and con about biodiesel, con all people who are either auto mechanic, engineer and industrial mind persons who knows everything about engine as they claim. pro all who have high hope for alternative fuel and the benifits of biodiesel. con person does not know more about biodiesel fuel properties specially the old mechanic and so called self learn person. the impression of dinodiesel is deeprooted in their mind. best way to unlearn their understanding about dino diesel is to tell them that diesel engine with dinodiesel as fuel produce smoke emission specially particulate matter and what is their solution. when they answer is, it cannot be done, then you have break thru. biodiesel is the answer the inhirent property of biodiesel is 11% oxygen it helps reduced the smoke pollution by helping the dino diesel burned completely with the blend of biodiesel. second tell them that the first diesel engine invented by rudolf diesel run with peanut oil and not dinodiesel. most of the self learn mechanic and engineer have no idea about this. pro are people who are hopefull that by the use of biodiesel cocodiesel where the philippines is major producer of raw material such as coconut oil. our lives in the PI will be improved and our environment specially the air become much cleaner. I'm encouraging people in this area to learn how to produce biodiesel for there own use at first and when they learn how to produce quality biodiesel they can build there own plant and sell biodiesel.the market is so big that even company like chemrest, senbel cannot supply in Philippines alone and how about the whole world. franklin b. del rosario

  • promoting biodiesel in the philippines as we travel all over the country is not only promoting how to use biodiesel but rather how to produce biodiesel in you own backyard specially in area rich with coconut like masbate, aklan and even remote area in mindanao. when we conduct a meeting with with our servant communities people on this area are looking forward to build their own biodiesel processor and have their own fuel for there farm equipment and transportation. so we device a small biodiesel processor a 20 liters capacity and adapt this technology and increase the plant capacities up to 4,000 liters. we would like to share this to all who are interested to have there own plant either a coconut oil mill or biodiesel mini plant.basically a small biodiesel processor with mixer, methanol recovery and washing tank with training and sets of raw material for initial production cost around Php 35,000.00 anf for a mini plant with 2,000 liter cap up to 4,000 liter all training package and share of produce will cost PHP 750,000.00 we encourage also to plant a jetropha (tuba-tuba, tubang bakod)and castor oil (tanglad) these plants are very easy to grow and dont require the best technology for any plant. it will grow like cogon grass. we are also looking forward to propagate the algae oil production which yield more oil than existing plant and use more of the idle land, and pond. hopefully we can learn more about this because our country is one of the longest shore line in the world where algae will grow and yeild oil for biodiesel. home grown technology in the philippines is the budding technology to empower the people not only how to use but also how to produce oil for biodiesel you may call us at 631-1275,687-1786 or email us sc_holdingscorp@yahoo.com look for Gerry Tabares or me franklin b. del rosario

  • This is great news for the Philippines. Great news for the environment and the Filipino people. We need to use our natural resources to produce biodiesel and not be dependent on petro diesel. Have been using bioactiv. Great stuff but would like to have my own production. We need to have some raw materials cheaper than coconut oil and petro diesel. Please spread the word around on biodiesel production procedures. I have researched the web the past weeks and looks like it is easy to make. Thanks and more power to biodiesel
  • 35,000 pesos worth of Processor for 20 Liters of BioDiesel is Expensive compared to proven processor that you could find over the internet. could you show us the sample picture of that 20 liters processor? what materials did you use. Christine
  • have you ever consider a complete set a biodiesel mixer, methanol recovery system, washing tank and settling tank in one compact piece of equipment when you make your comment. i dont blame you because what you see in the internet is the same what i saw 3 years ago but when i stated making one there were a lot of equipment needed and you must have to produce good quality biodiesel if you want to learn more please call 6311275 before you make comments

  • Complete set? thats what you could see on the internet =) It's working. the one that you have seen 3 yrs ago is different, alot of innovation has been done already and those equipments could produce a ASTM Standard biodiesel. just a suggestion conduct a CHEAP seminar how to make quality biodiesel this would help the poor and middle class farmers etc... alot.. Rather than convincing them to make and how to use biodiesel then to buy the processor and tell them how beneficial it is to them.. just my 1c =)
  • my question to you is this have you tried making biodiesel by your self the way you post on this thread is you are experience biodiesel producer if not then you are just one of filipino who love to post quote comment without learning how to making biodiesel. it is very sad if you are like that you know in the Philippines we need mover not writer we need producer not idea like yours speaking of farmer i have been working with them because i go to there place and teach them to have extract oil from coconut, jathropa and even palm fruit in a very practical way when they have oil as raw material then they can make biodiesel of there own backyard. do you think a farmer here will surf in internet and ask for biodiesel no we have to go to farmer to teach them on making biodiesel, people on this thread who have access to computer is like you and me not a farmer..so stop making useless quote and be a mover, a producer or even a user of biodiesel promote biodiesel in any way you can so that the government wake up and dont relay on big corporation input. people will make a difference if we act together.remember we have to promote biodiesel or biofuel in any way we can?

  • just recently we have a magazine write up from "DRIVE" a AAP magazine where alternate fuel where the topic and it is very helpful write up. for those who are interested to have there own biodiesel processor, we have people who want to spend money and time to produce there own fuel they are the kind of people who are mover and doer rather than reading, commenting and thinking to have their own fuel. more power for these private individual who are making a difference. just remember the Philippines Senate had enacted a law for biofuel and sooner or later our diesel fuel will be blend with biodiesel franklin b. del rosario

  • Biodiesel should not be confused with straight vegetable oil, which is untreated oil that some people use as fuel in their modified diesel cars. Biodiesel--a renewable fuel derived from plant oils or animal fats--is a more standardized product that can be used in most diesel engines without any modifications. (Like conventional diesel fuel, biodiesel can only be used in diesel engines.)

Fact at NCR alone year 2004 there are 1.5 million car registered at LTO if 60 to 70% of that are diesel engine at 60% there are 900,000 car using diesel fuel and if 70% of 0.9M cars are public transport so a total of 630,000 public utility roaming around Metro Manila consuming an average 30 liters/day so a total of 18.9M liters per day of diesel fuel consume by NCR alone.

if we can make blend of biodiesel at BD01 recomended by Philippines Government (1% biodiesel and 99% petrodiesel) at 189K liters of fuel per day we have to produce close to 200K liters of biodiesel per day or a feed stock of 200K liters of SVO per day

the question is do we have in the Philippines a land area of coconut tree that can supply 200k liter per day.

  •  sir im anthony l marzan and im interested in your biodiesel machine im calling your numbers but they are unavailable pls contact me as soon as possible 09287436207

  • Mr. Frank Del Rosario seems to be no longer involved in Phillipine biodiesel in anyway because he has moved to Canada.  I know this as a fact because I paid for his services in constructing my own biodiesel system at home afterwhich he went incognito a few months later.  He did later say in an email communication to me that he has migrated to canada because of new opportunities.

Anyways, with my own experiences with biodiesel. I can state with conviction that the method showed to me by Frank and written in the JTF website is absolutely misleading and incorrect.  I was not able to produce any form biodiesel with this so called "fool-proof method".  And  according to info on this and other forums nobody was ever able to make biodiesel from the "Fool-Proof Method" either.

This happened almost a year ago.  I have been producing biodiesel since then with major changes to frank's design and by following the Single Base Transesterification method used by most homebrewers in the U.S and with a lot of help and advice from the biodiesel yahoo groups.  You should join some because they are very friendly and helpful.

I am still working to get my fuel ASTM spec but I'm getting closer,  My last glyc test came at 0.5 percent which is a big drop from my previous numbers.  This is a perfect example of how difficult things get when you work with a screwed setup in the first place.

So anyways, If you or anybody here in the Philippines wants to talk about biodiesel, make it, sell it or start our own dynasty with it Stick out tongue   ;just give me a ring at 0927-2713617

  • purple your number is not working as well
