Indian Biodiesel manufacturers are in a position to push the sales of Biodiesel easily nowadays in India.

Thanks to the Palm sterin and animal fat that favours the current supplies well below Rs45/liter.

Its not surprising to me as we all expected the secrecy of oil palm lobbies who finally have to enforce their palm products into indian sub continent in the name of fuel.

Its likely to remain firm inspite of the dollar parity is high against rupee.

The Indian govt is supposed to raise the diesel cost anytime before budget and yet there is no pulling market for Bio diesel.

Thank you,

Bhadrinath.

Diesel in India crosses Rs50/liter mark.

Its quite interesting to come back again here in this forum with a breaking news that Diesel price raised to Rs5/liter.

Its too late but its a corageous move by the Govt.

I even expect a mild threat by few Mamtas and Samtas in this context and this may lead to even a mid term poll.

Hope Diesel is defeated and India elect a new Govt. that throw the Diesel out from the country first.

The most corrupt politicians want Diesel to be always a trump card and all the other issues are simply sidelined.

Almost all the political out fits are in favour of petroleum trade that is still a secret when comes to its cost and sales.

Bhadrinath.

I am very sad to know the interst created to grow more biodiesel agri-crops is amost half-dead.
